Adding to the excitement, a hole-in-one prize will be on offer courtesy of a partnership between NCBA and leading construction and agricultural equipment dealer, JCB Ganatra Plant and Equipment.
The prize will be a brand-new JCB Backhoe Loader, Model 3DX—a significant reward for the rare achievement.
This event follows successful outings at VetLab Sports Club, Nandi Bears Club, Malindi Golf Club, and Kenya Railway Golf Club.
From the Nakuru event, six outstanding players will qualify for the 2025 NCBA Golf Series Grand Finale.
These will include the Overall Men’s Gross Winner, Overall Ladies’ Gross Winner, Division 2 Men’s and Ladies’ Winners, the Overall Division 3 Winner, and the Junior Winner.
Speaking ahead of the tournament, NCBA Group Managing Director John Gachora expressed enthusiasm about the return to Nakuru.
“We are truly excited to be back in Nakuru for what promises to be another fantastic leg of the NCBA Golf Series. Nakuru Golf Club holds a special place in our journey, not only because of its rich history and breathtaking scenery but also because of the warm reception we’ve always received from the local golfing community.
This course is known to challenge even the most seasoned golfers, and that’s exactly what makes it such a thrilling venue. We’re expecting a great display of talent, passion, and sportsmanship."
On his part, Nakuru Golf Club captain Eng. Michael Mululu affirmed the club’s readiness to host the tournament, noting the significance of such events in developing local golfing talent:
“We are honoured to host this leg of the NCBA Golf Series, and I can confidently say we are fully prepared to welcome the players and guests. Our course is in great condition, and we’ve worked hard to ensure the entire experience is enjoyable for all," Mululu offered.
Now in its fifth year, the NCBA Golf Series continues to grow in stature and impact, providing a platform that not only celebrates the sport but also connects people, communities, and businesses through a shared love of golf.
